A Community / Commune business model that could work anywhere in USA

A community build around total  scrape model of Repair, reuse reinvent or scrape feed stocks. Based on repair, dismantling, reselling large scraped appliances, cars, busses etc as its "Un-Nature Resouces MINE"
.
This will work with almost any  location and does not depend on cutting down all the trees for building materials. Or the hope of selling simple hand crafts as revenue stream, but instead real materials and products of known values.

While helping supporting the lower income families in USA or overseas with low cost refurbished needed appliances, homes and transportation. By opening resale / very low rent centers in local towns.

"Un-Nature Resources MINE":
Fixing or taking down to spare parts, nuts and bolts level
scrape cars, busses, washers, dryers and other large material rich appliances.

While I envision members going out on nights before large trash pickup (even better finds in rich communities) to pick up throw outs for much of this. Buying from scrape yards and others that but unwanted vehicles or nonprofits that get donated items also. Perhaps being paid to cleanup trashed properties when items were dumped and  as community grows even offering bulk collection services to   your local towns.

"Trash is your Gold Mine!"

Free Fuel:
You often get often a few quarts of usable oil,  tires are full of usable energy too. Used oil can be refilled or recracken or used direct for furnaces, diesel engines or small scrap metal foundries.  Also alternator diodes can be used in making HOH gas generators (from water) for cutting Torches.

Free off grid power equipment:
Alternators and resalable batteries for small water wind power, even Ceiling fans a wind blades. Car Truck Wheel hubs are perfect for use in ,"Wood Gas" generators also along with used hot water tanks. Woodgas can fuel your Trucks, AC generators, cooking, heating and Kilns just from scrap wood and plant scrapes. While there is tons of in most areas and lawn / tree services will give it to you free or pay you to take it.

Leaf springs offer good steel for many applications like hand tools or swords / blades etc for resale.

There is much reusable matters or valuable scrap metals:

Again repar, use resale, reinvent.
Lots of copper wire, glass and metals for homes, green houses and outdoor sheds. I think but do not know that one could find a marketplace for clean good salvaged self tapping screws  if one had thousands of them.

While saving the best to rebuild,  used car / parts marketplaces and turning frames into other equipment, homes, mobile Chicken Coups and Bee Hive platforms etc.

One could stat off by locating  Car, Buss, Trailers and Tractor Trailer graveyards to mine. Also going into towns on nights before big trash pickup and getting often working large appliances or reparable / spare parts ones free for transport cost.  Perhaps even offering  pickup as a for hire service to towns and communities in your area.

Used Busses as startup point:

They could be first housing and then after refurnishing a Nationwide Camper market. By adding Solar Panels, Three flolding setup on roofs they can be very self sufficient energy wise. folded up on top for diving, Two Shade roofs when parked and uf folded. Flowed back for storms, adjust angles for snow etc.

Membership, a safe buy in model:

A buy-in model could be cost of used Buss that community would rebuild into home for / with new member, using communities remade resources as much as possible. As a community starts  building real local homes,  you should  not have any trouble selling the converted busses to new members or general public.

Will add more as time permits.

Living off the Main Grid !

Caveat emptor /ˌkævɛɑːt ˈɛmptɔr/ is Latin for "Let the buyer beware"

>>

Please be careful, not to invest in a Commune (Money) unless you get real property (Title and resalable) or registered (FTC) stock with voting rights. Your time and labor, well you must put it somewhere anyway!

Bullet Proof Commune, is it possible in America?
  • There is really only one solution, I believe. And that is to find a very low population "Country" quietly have people buy homes, land . Start businesses and rental apartments. At some point you may reach a . Voting majority and take over, but be sure and Hire the Locals and politicians back as assistants at their old salaries to keep the peace!

Buy out all the Utility companies, Water, Power, Telecom, Bank, Trash Sewer etc. And then you can build a real hybrid legal Commune within that structure. That if you keep a low profile is safe from Legal attacks.

Solar / Wind Power storage:
I have researched this type of battery while a Telecommunication R&D engineer with Siemens and Nokia for use in third world Cell sites. And fell in love with it.
Anyone looking at some or full Solar Photovoltaic power sound give a close study of The nickel–iron battery (NiFe battery) . The battery was developed by Thomas Edison in 1901, and used as the energy source for electric vehicles.

How Zoning Laws will kill you:

International Code Council

Janice Scott-Reeder King I ran across this snag because a woman in the middle of state was set up completely off the grid and collected rain water for her house. The city came in and demanded she connect to city water. They are trying to do the same thing to us out here and install sewers rather than the septic systems we have. We have super septic systems designed for environmentally sensitive areas by Water Management. Anyway, she ended up in court and that is when this minimum housing standards thing came up as the law. I then started research to find out who set these standards that even HUD has adopted. I hit a brick wall. No names on anything. Anyway, she lost, had to hook up to city water and even though she uses no city water, she has to pay the minimum fee per month. Down here, that can be at least 100.00. In other not so nice news, building and zoning in many cities has made it impossible to have solar by outlawing putting it on your roof or in your yard even though it is proven it keeps your roof on the house in a hurricane. You must remember those nifty utility taxes that go directly to your local, county and state government and you never hear a peep about how much is collected or how it is spent. They don't want to lose their slush fund.
